The schools do have the tendency to have a bad reputation, but every setting has its cons. I love being in the schools just as much as when I first started. The students make all of the bad days worth it and then some. I went there for my undergraduate degree (Bachelors in Social Work). Now I'm about to start my 2nd year at graduate school for speech language therapy. I am interested in working in the school system as a contractor. There are so many negative comments by slp's on the internet about them hating their jobs, etc. So i wanted to thank you for your positivity!!! I love your blog as well!
